Write about your hobbies and how they have helped you shape your personality. You may use these questions as a guide.- What hobbies do you have?- When did you start doing it/them?- what kind of skills do they require or have you developed in relation to them?- How do you think these hobbies have contributed to shape / develop your personality?- Do they make you get in touch with other people, or do you develop them individually?Write between 300-350 words.Leave comments on two of your partners' blogs.

I have different hobbies like: to play music, to do sports, to dance, and share.
But, my first hobby was to listen songs and then play them on guitar only by ear, not using accords, and things like that. I remember that, when a started to play guitar, I was 15 years, and my classmates needed somebody to play any instrument for a presentation at school. So, I offered to play guitar and to guide the instrumental for the song.
The presentation was great and my friends and classmates were so happy with the results.
The music joined us as course and with the years, we perfected enough the interpretations of songs.
Apart from doing this with my classmates, I was part of a duo with a friend, from the same course, and we always sang in school and family activities in general, like bingos, parties, coffee concerts, and thins like that.
This contributed much in develop my personality, because, you need to be sure of yourself when you'll get on a stage. So this helped me become more outgoing and daring to do things like sing, or talk in front a public.

I really liked that time so much, because, with my friend or with my classmates sang a lot of special and beautiful songs with a passion that know it's only in our memories. So for me and my friends, it's very nice to remember that time when we get together occasionally.

Another hobby that I had at school was cooking. I remember that all weekends I cooking something sweet like pancakes, cakes, lemon pie, tartlets, or cookies.

After that I went to the Santiago University of Chile and studied BS in physical activity for two years. At that time I wasn't clear for what I really wanted to be professionally. But, with this career I took conscience of how important it's to do sports for health. So, now, I’m studying obstetrics, but despite the hours of study I do sports four or five times a week. Depending from weather and my health I do running or ride a bike. This helped me to appreciate and take care of my body as a woman. And to concentrate more on the things I do, with energy and motivation to not give up despite the weaknesses that could appear on my way.
So, now, to do sports, play guitar and pass a good times like dancing or share with friends are my favorite hobbies.

Hello, today i'm going to write about my holidays.
In the past, i was going to Linares, Talca with my family. We were there for many years because the place was so fun and beautiful, it had an hotel with a lot of rooms, and two pools, one was temperate, and the other was outdoors. It was a place for relax and enjoy cause it had many things to do, like horseback riding, dance fun, pool games, barbecues, tours, partys, and of course, the food. This last thing was the best, you can eat all you want cause it worked like buffet at the breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Over time, we stopped going there because my father preferred going to the beach, my brother and I wanted to go to other places and my mother began working.
Besides, my friends invited me to Isla Negra, a beach between "The Kisko" and "The Tabo", and we stayed there for two weeks at the summer in a friend's house. So practically as a family we left the travels for a while.
After that, i get started to work, so when summer arrived i had money to go out. I remember that the first time i worked i wanted to backpacking with my ex boyfriend. He had worked too, so we plan to go to south and visit all the places we didn't know. That summer, we took a bus to Puerto Montt, and then we started to hitch on the road. It was so fun because we did'nt wait so long when a van stopeed and led us to Chiloe. Then we were to Valdivia, Pucon, and so many places.
The last summer, i backpacking too, but i were to "The seven cups" in Molina's way, Talca. We were there for a week, and the enviroment was so beautiful , all around it was nature, woods and rivers. It was glacial water, so the colour was crystalline and blue. It was a great experience to me.
For this summer, first, i want to work and make some money to go to the beach, or backpacking but this time to the north.
I hope that this year i make good money to travel at the summer, but, before, of course, i have to pass all my University's subjects.

Post # 7: summary of a career-related article from The Guardian

Hello, today i'll talk about the truth about sleeping with baby, and if this action is or not in accordance with the science.
The Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths (FSID) and the Department of Health indicate that mothers should not to : breastfeeding their babies in the same bed, and sleep with them.
As obstetrics we must to educate the community about how breastfeeding in the correct form.
And according to this article that i found in this link http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2009/oct/16/sudden-infant-death-syndrome-children; the safest place for the baby when its the time to sleep is the cot. And of course, when the mothers want to breastfeed their babys, they must to wake up them, pick them up and sit in a comfortable chair. This is the correct way of breastfeeding, and when this action ends, mothers must to put their babys back in the cot and let them sleep alone.

Why we need to repeat strongly this message??
The British Medical Journal which FSID made a study and find that the 50% of all the unexpected deaths of newborns in the south-west of Englandhad died because their were sleeping with the parents or carers.
And the most worrying of this situation it is that in a survay the 25% of mothers said that they dont knew that bedsharing could increase the risk of a cot death.
So we can conlude that in this cases, the mothers don't had the experience or they simply didn't have the correct education of how breastfeed correctly.
So as obstetrics, we must to promote campaigns. For example, according with the article, in the 90s, the number of cot deaths decreased markedly after a campagns about dangers of bedsharing with babys.

Today you have to write about the importance of sport:a) for individuals, andb) for a nation.Use these questions to build your ideas:- do you practice any sport or physical activity? what benefit do you get from it?- what impact may sport have on a country's health?- how would you encourage these people to do more sport: children, teenagers, adults?- do you think that we will have better sports people in the future? Is there a genetic factor or is it social or training that make a sportsman/woman of excellence?Write between 250-300 words. And leave comments in two of your classmates' blogs.

I practice a lot of sports, like bicycling, running, aerobic, pilates and fitness. I like very much do this sports, cause, they relax me and take my mind out of the daily routine. And in the University I really need to disconnect from all the world of test, classes and boocks. So i often get to the gym 3 times a week and at the weekend i go running near my house, by one hour generally or a go bicycling to the San Cristobal hill.
The benefit i get from practice sports are a lot, for example:
- Every day i do sport i feel more energetic and motivated to do anything i want.
- I don't get tired so fast with things like climbing stairs, dance, runn, or anything that has to do with physical effort.
- I can eat all what i want, without a charge of conscience, but obviously with carefull, it's not the end of the world to eat all i find.
- As doing sports makes me feel more energetic, i can study 3 or 4 hours and after that take a rest to going on.
- And of course, i have I lost weight.

On a country's health the sport could have a very positive impact, like: give greater longevity, reduce obesity in the population, make people care their bodies. This could down the percentage of diseases and improve the labor efficiency in adults, and the concentration capacity on childrens and teenagers. Of course, the impact on teenagers it could be very positive, cause it would regulate the concentration of hormones, for example, decreasing acne and the accumulation of fat.
I think that if the parents motivate their children to do sports, in the future we will have better and more sports people.
Cause it isn't a thing of have the best genetic, or have the best body, or the optimal muscles, it's about conscience, culture and motivation to have a better health and lifestyle.
